More than seven years ago, after an opportunity "too good to be true" presented itself, Ken Mears began his career as a real estate professional. Prior to real estate, Ken encouraged, supported and guided companies through a new digital marketing opportunity at the time, "search engine optimization." While working with local and regional companies, specifically a local real estate company, the broker/owner encouraged Ken to "go ahead and get his license" so he'd understand the real estate environment better. So, he did.

Since then, Ken has garnered first-hand experiences to help him better understand the value of ensuring the highest professional standard possible. Whether that be difficult negotiations, unforeseen challenges with a closing or simply expecting the unexpected, Ken is prepared and trained to navigate each situation all the while maintaining direct communication with clear expectations.

When asked what makes Ken stand out, a simple response is received: Accessibility. "The market waits for no one" and it's certainly not going to wait when Ken's your agent. He's closed deals while on vacation, on a commuter train from Baltimore to Washington DC, late at night, early in the morning, and even on holidays. He'll do the same for each client he represents.

However, it's not all work and no play! In addition to real estate, Ken enjoys spending time with his family, working on his golf game (would love to chat with you about your real estate needs while putting for birdie!), and pretty much anything else you can do outdoors. His wife, Heather, and their three children, Parker, Madeline and Clara, enjoy an active lifestyle, seen most evenings playing soccer, baseball and running in the front yard.
